This is a gorgeous classic, classy and elegant, dark wine red leather, twin handle bag with gilt clasp by high end quality brand Garfields, made in England. It's made from top quality materials and in excellent condition. There are minimal marks to the leather exterior just the odd dings which should lessen with use and proper storage (please see photos). The handles are uncreased, firm and strong and the base is protected by gilt studs. There is minimal loss of gilt and no tarnish to the gilt frame. The front of the handbag has very attractive detail which takes it out of the ordinary. The handbag is lined in a pale tan suede, with a zipped pocket and leather edged slip pocket, invariably a sign of quality on vintage handbags. The lining is clean with just a few marks to the suede on the side underneath the brand label. The Garfields label is fixed to the lining.
