This is an original 50s Waldybag handbag hanger, in the original box, which is a still in excellent condition. It's a super little vintage item and a perfect accessory to protect your beautiful Waldybag (or any other beautiful vintage handbag!) whilst you sit at a table for drinks or to dine. The flat part of the hook with the Forget Me Not floral motif rests on the dining table with the other part hanging underneath the table so that your handbag is safely stowed away but not on the floor, back of a chair etc. It folds flat so takes up very little space in the handbag itself. We understand that HM The Queen uses a handbag hook for her handbags when she dines out. It's in excellent condition, minimal loss of gilt from age or use and still in the original box which in itself is in excellent condition, especially for a 70year old item.
