This is a beautiful silk scarf in excellent condition by sought after collectable brand Richard Allen. It is an atypical design of stripes and squares with rich colours of burgundy, pink, pale blue and grey on a warm pinky background. It is in an excellent quality silk and bears virtually no signs of age or use. The scarf has an all over large pattern with a lined border. The edges of the silk are hand rolled, invariably a sign of a quality scarf. The name Richard Allan is woven into the silk (visible in the main photo) and the care label, a little discoloured from age, remains attached to the hem.
An elegant, excellent quality silk scarf, in gorgeous rich and very wearable colours, in a design that can be dressed up or down. It is from a sought after designer and as it is vintage it's unlikely anyone else will be wearing the same. Perfect gift for her.
