A super vintage 50s rare caramel crocodile handbag, in a very dainty design and in excellent condition. The skins to the handbag are glossy and pliable with only minimal wear and no splits or cracking to the skins. The handles are in excellent condition and fixed to the handbag with attractive gilt anchors. The gilt clasp is in excellent condition with no tarnish and in a very attractive design. The top of the handbag is elegantly shaped in a ladylike design. There are slip pockets outside of the central compartment which are useful for tickets, invitations etc. These compartments are lined in a silky grosgrain which are not immaculate and do bear some marks from use and the odd stain as seen in the photos. The inside of the handbag is lined in a creamy taupe leather with crocodile edged slip pockets. The leather lining is not quite pristine it does have some dints from use but is absolutely clean with no marks, stains or pen marks. Although the handbag does not have a brand label it is of excellent quality and we are pretty confident that it is a Riviera.
