This handbag, with it's small top handle which folds flat enabling it to be carried as a clutch and the optional gilt chain enabling it to be worn as a shoulder bag, is absolutely gorgeous. it is of excellent quality and in almost mint condition. The condition of the skins is outstanding. The skins themselves are of top quality as usually seen on high end handbags such as Hermes and Lederer. There is virtually no wear to the handbag, no scuffed corners, the skins are excellent and supple with no splits, cracks or scratches. There is very minimal loss of shine to the gilt motif on the front which is still bright and shiny. The optional gilt chain is a good, heavy weight in a very attractive design, which has clips which enable the chain to be put on and off the handbag easily. The handle, which slides flat is in excellent condition and lined underneath in leather for strength. There is minimal rubbing where the handle slides through the hooks on top of the handbag and minimal loss of gilt to the fixings through slight rubbing but there is no tarnish. On the back of the handbag is a full width slip pocket, very handy for tickets etc.
The inside compartment is lined in black leather, with green leather underneath the flap and to the front. Both are in excellent condition with just a few light scuffs and minor signs of use to prevent it from being in mint condition. The inside of the handbag contains a zipped pocket and two slip pockets. There is no brand name on the handbag but we suspect it to be either French or Italian. It is absolutely top end quality and would have been very expensive when new. So, a fabulous handbag, truly exquisite, in superb, almost mint condition which is very attractive and eye catching. It is obviously high end and top quality at a glance.
