This is a beautiful, dainty little Fassbender lizard skin vintage handbag in a very elegant pinky tinged taupe colour (slightly pinker than in the photos) which was made by Fassbender. It has the hallmark Fassbender bars rather than studs on the base, which is typical of Fassbender. It is a high end quality handbag which is in near mint condition. The only minor signs of wear to the whole handbag are a slight crease to a rear corner on the back of the handbag, as well as a few cracks to the handle where it has been folded, these have been professionally glued and don't affect the use of the handbag as the handle is lined underneath in leather. The lizard skins to the handbag are mint, the intricate and exquisite gilt frame and elegant clasp are untarnished and the base unmarked. The inside of the handbag is similarly in superb condition with the softest pale beige suede lining. Condition aside, what marks this handbag out in our opinion, is the unusual design of the almost square 'frame' almost like a picture frame, around the handbag which makes it an extremely attractive and definitely out of the ordinary. The gilt frame itself with a fluted edge is quite unusual and rare.
