This is a beautiful silk scarf from our favourite scarf brand Liberty. It is in one of the most recent incarnations of the famous Liberty Art Nouveau Ianthe design, first introduced in 1967 and since then one of the most popular Liberty designs. This version is still sold in Liberty although no longer in this colourway and with an updated logo. We think it works really well with this eyecatching colour scheme, it's bright fresh and gorgeous in excellent but not pristine condition, with the odd tiny foxing marks to one border edge and a fold mark on close inspection. The silk itself is still crisp, fresh and glossy. The Liberty name is woven into the corner of the scarf but no fabric care label remains. The hem is handrolled.
What can we say, a gorgeous silk scarf from a top end brand and in a very covetable design, Liberty at a glance. It would perk up any outfit, can be worn around the neck, brim of a Summer straw hat, for smart or casual Spring/Summer wear and as a head scarf with a Barbour jacket, for Winter wear.
It is 26" x 26"
