A gorgeous vintage 1940s/1950s faux leather handbag, purse with matching coin/mirror purse (with original mirror) on a gilt chain. It has an attractive gilt clasp and a rare mock astrakhan design in taupe, the whole bag in virtually pristine condition.
This is a rare find, an iconic 40s/50s faux leather vintage bag in fabulous condition in man made vinyl fabric to the outside with a silky beige interior with original coin purse and mirror inside.The handbag is vintage at a glance, an iconic shape and style from the late 40s early 50s in a fantastic pale taupe colour which will accessorise most outfits. It is in amazing condition for a vintage bag of that era. The vinyl fabric to the outside has no marks, scuffs or splits, it's as new. The handle is firm with no splits or cracking. The pale silky lining is clean, just a faint watermark and a few small marks to the base. There is a gorgeous little coin purse on a chain. It is in a rare astrakhan design to the outside with a shiny gilt push clasp with no tarnish. No brand label.
