This is a gorgeous clutch bag, a real iconic piece and a wonderful example of it's time, it conjures up images of Jeeves and Wooster, Art Deco buildings, cloche hats and wealthy ladies off to lunch. The clutch bag is in excellent condition, very little wear at all from use or age with only minimal surface wear (one small crease to a corner visible in the photos) and the lizard skin still supple. There is a hand strap to the back of the bag to hold it as an alternative to under the arm and there is also an outside pocket on the back which is the width of the bag, useful for tickets etc. The inside is lined in light tan suede which is clean with no marks or stains and minimal signs of use for a bag which is 80years old, it also has lots of slip pockets and a little brown grosgrain flap over purse which may have held a mirror. The clutch is bag is lovely, it is eye catching, vintage at a glance and very elegant.
