This Waldybag handbag scores highly on several fronts, the fact that it is in a most unusual soft gathered leather in this gorgeous rich mid tan colour (always an extremely popular 'go with everything' colour) the fact that it is a Waldybag, always a sought after brand with its history of making handbags used by members of the Royal family, including HM The Queen and as a bonus it is in excellent condition, still with the original coin purse and mirror! This is a rare example, the style is absolutely gorgeous with the rare dainty curved gilt frame, the faux opal in the gilt clasp and the elegant slim twin shoestring leather handles. We would describe the exterior of the handbag as being in excellent condition with some evidence age and use but no scratches, scuffs or stains, a very well looked after handbag. The pinky taupe silk lining has some very minor scuffs from use but is perfectly clean with no marks or stains. The matching purse looks unused. It is in fabulous condition for a handbag which is 60+ years old and in a great size for all essentials yet still dainty.
