This is a super and very eye catching 60s/70s buttersoft leather soft sided handbag from Jane Shilton, in a rich tan/red/cream/green/brown colour scheme in a patchwork design with twin rolled leather handles and dainty gilt clasp. It's in a dainty little size but big enough for essentials and with two outside slip pockets perfect for keys tickets etc. It's in excellent virtually pristine condition both inside and out, just the odd mark to the leather (please see photos) and in a really great colour combination, very Italian. The inside is lined in a dark brown grosgrain which is clean and fresh and looks unused. The is some slight dust from the disintegration of the inner lining which should lessen with use. The label with the name name Jane Shilton, Real leather and Made in England is sewn into the lining.
A gorgous dainty little unusual and eye catching leather bag with tactile rolled leather handles from quality, and very varied in their designs, brand Jane Shilton, made in England and in excellent condition, what's not to love! It's in a useful size, large enough to be practical yet small enough to be dainty and in great colours. It would be perfect for vintage events but it would also make a really perfect little handbag for everyday or casual or smart events with the right boho outfit and big floppy hat! And perfec for casual wear too. Perfect git for her.
