Gorgeous vintage 60s iconic little dainty black patent leather top handle handbag for Preston in classic Ladylike style with simple fold over flap and popper closure. It's cute and we love it. It is a classy, classic and understated and of excellent quality in the style often worn by the late First Lady of America, the ever chic and elegant Jackie Kennedy Onassis. It is in great condition, almost pristine and made from quality patent leather with a decorative leather trim to the front twin handles and leather gussets to the sides. The condition of the patent to the outside is excellent, little evidence of wear nor loss of shine, with tiny cracking where the flap folds over, noticeable on very close inspection (please see photos). The underside of the flap is black leather and the rest of the inside is lined in beige suede leather which is clean with little evidence of use and no marks or stains. Although a small and dainty handbag, it is deceptively capacious at 3" in depth. The Preston name is embossed in gilt on a leather label fixed to the lining.
