This is a super handbag in a faux snakeskin embossed patent leather in a dark teal/french navy blue. It is in excellent, almost pristine condition. There are a couple of tiny nicks to the plain navy leather covered top bar, there are a couple of tiny scuffs to the corners and that's it. The rest of the exterior is free of scratches and scuffs, the gilt clasp and frame are still shiny and untarnished with no scratches or abrasions and the base has just one scrape with a slight indentation to one end which can't be seen unless looking at the base. The handles are uncreased and look unused. The inside is lined in a mid tan suede which is immaculate with no marks or stains, looks unused. The lining includes a wide slip pocket and a zipped pocket. There is no brand label but the frame bears the LBF trademark, so as LBF was a Birmingham company which made frames for many of the handbag manufacturers in the UK it's fair to assume it was made in England, especially as we have seen this style of clasp on other British brands. It is not a high end handbag but mid range, made from good materials and in a nice finish.
A very wearable handbag in a great, slightly unusual colour which could be dressed up for smart occasions or down to wear with a casual outfit for less formal occasions. It is a good size to accommodate all essentials and we think it's a very attractive and distinctive handbag. Suitable gift for her.
