A very plain simple little clutch bag in very soft leather and in very good to excellent condition but not pristine. This is in a very rich burgundy red colour which is in excellent condition with no marks or scratches but it does have some creasing as seen in the photos as a result of being soft leather, rather than excessive use. The frame is leather covered and the simple gilt clasp is still bright and shiny with no tarnish. The clutch is lined in a dark pink grosgrain in a watered silk effect. This lining is clean and free of marks or stains and has no evidence of use. There are no pockets. It is a lovely little clutch which would have been mid range rather than high end but made from quality materials. There is no brand label but since it has a frame seen on many English brands of the day we are pretty confident it was made in the UK.
A super little clutch which would be perfect for day or evening, dressed up or down and we think would look particularly lovely with something floral. It is also a good size for a clutch bag, certainly large enough for all essentials for a day out at a wedding or the races, garden party etc(leave the iPad at home).
