This is an absolutely gorgeous and very tactile tote bag from the 70s, in iconic colours of maroon and orange. For those who were there, it evokes mental images of long hair, loon pants, afghan sheepskin coats, beads and music festivals. And for those who weren't, you really missed out! This bag is in excellent condition, it shows minimal signs of use or age related wear, the leather is still glossy, stitching intact (albeit a bit whiskery in parts) and the zip is still working without issue. The handles (long enough to wear comfortably over the shoulder) look unused. The only visible wear is to the base with a few scuffs, possibly from storage. The handbag is lined in a black silky cotton fabric which is clean, with no marks or stains but difficult to photograph. There is a small front pocket which fastens with a popper, again lined in clean black fabric. There is no brand name and it wouldn't have been high end back in the day and may even have been bought abroad with the advent of cheap air travel and a lust for travel and foreign holidays.
So, channel your bohemian chic with this great looking bag in an iconic design and colourway. It's a great size for carrying all essentials, perfect for work or for overnight stays and original and individual. Perfect for a gift.
It is 11" x 12" x 3"
