A gorgeous, eye catching large carpet bag in shades of mustard, rust and brown in an iconic 70s design and colour palette in a soft velour/chenille fabric. We love it, it is in excellent condition both inside and out looks hardly used. The lining is in WA's usual dark brown stiffened silky fabric and one large open space, one zipped pocket and one slip it's very clean. The handle is rigid and made from a material which is metal/plastic based but looks like wood or leather, slightly bent which gives it a quirky look. The gilt frame and fabulous big gilt chunky clasp are gorgeous with no age related tarnish. WA handbags have quite a following, the designs were fantastic with lots of interesting detail and they were all made from man made materials, including their leather look handbags so perfect for vegans! We've called it a Mary Poppins bag as it's the sort of bag which looks like it should accommodate lots of 'stuff', including a standard lamp!
