This is a beautiful patent leather handbag which is in pristine condition both inside and out in a gorgeous colour, perfect for the Autumn and Winter seasons but would also accessorise cream and gold silk for Summer wear. It has twin handles which are strong and intact with no cracking and the patent and gilt frame are shiny and unscratched. There is a decorative top bar which is covered in patent leather. The lining is a rich chocolate brown grosgrain, again in super condition. The patent is leather with a fabric appearance under the patent coating. This was a popular feature with many Holmes handbags and we have sold a few of these, always in stunning rich colours. On close inspection it is possible to see a faint weave almost a linen effect in the patent which gives a nice textured effect.
