This is a gorgeous scarf in ever popular Hera peacock feather design, Liberty's most iconic and sought after design. It is in excellent condition but with just the odd small white mark mark to show it has been used (priced to reflect) but with no scuffs or pulled threads (please see photos). The silk has a crepe feel rather than the more usual silk twill. The edges, as with many of the Liberty scarves, are hand rolled. The border is deep wine red with the the peacock feather design in black, green and ivory. The Liberty name is woven into the corner of the scarf with 'made in England' so one of the earlier scarves from Liberty's hey day for scarves in the 80s. A beautiful scarf in glorious rich colours from a top brand.
