A classic, classy and very sought after large varuna wool wrap in one of, if not the most, iconic peacock feather designs from Liberty of London. This is in pristine unworn condition with beautifully soft wool and in our opinion the classiest colourway. It does have a very small sprinkling of the dreaded moth holes from storage, fortunately, apart from one tiny pinprick hole in the body of the scarf just visible when held up to the light, a couple on the very edges of the scarf and not particularly noticeable as a result of the intricacy of the pattern,the mixture of colours and the fringe but we have point out that it is not 100% perfect. The Liberty csre label is still attached to the wrap. There is the usual self fringed edge around the whole wrap. These varuna wool shawls from Liberty are warm yet light and don't crease easily so perfect for travelling. They are highly sought after and very difficult to find, particularly in the 'Hera' design.
This would look stunning with a black cashmere coat, or as a wrap over a little black dress and light enough to be slipped into hand luggage to keep you snug on a plane. Fabulous vintage, collectable and classy addition to your wardrobe.
