This is a classic and very elegant statement handbag by Waldybag a high end handbag manufacturer who made handbags for royalty and Hollywood stars 'back in the day'. Waldybags were regularly worn by HM the late Queen and her sister the late Princess Margaret. The handbag in excellent, virtually pristine condition. It is in a rare and sought after pale creamy beige, with twin top handles and decorative pleat stitching to the front and fastens with a gilt clasp. There is little evidence of wear or use, the handbag still has the original swing ticket. The inside of the handbag is in almost pristine condition and still retains the tag which came with the bag when purchased and a small vanity mirror as well as the matching suede coin purse. The pale beige suede is clean with little evidence the handbag has been used. Waldybags are no longer Made, the company having been bought by Rayne in the 70s so handbags such as these, especially in this condition, are hard to find and very sought after, classics of quality which, properly looked after, will last generations. Easily large enough to accommodate all essentials.
